Campus Facilities
LIT campus provides a number of facilities to the students with its advance technology used in the premises. It has the latest computers with strong wireless internet facility available throughout the day. The classes are equipped with latest huge plasma televisions attached with computers and projectors. Kitchen and common room are available for students where they can relax and take rest in their breaks. LIT has links with external cricket and other social clubs for the extra curriculum activities. Students also have facilities of high speed photocopiers.
LIT Campus is situated within 5 minutes distance from Harrow and Wealdstone station and is situated in the heart of Wealdstone high street which provides all the facilities of food and refreshments.
Computer Facilities
LIT is equipped with a modern computer laboratory, which maintains the latest computer software packages. Students are encouraged to make use of this technology. Gaining knowledge and practical skills in this area is deemed priceless and is the backbone of success for today's students. Unlimited use of Internet facilities is also available.
Library facilities
LIT students have access to an in-house library facility. The LIT library is modest but holds the most up-to-date collection of books especially in the areas of Management, Computer, Information Systems, Finance & Accounting, Hospital and Tourism Management including software, CDs, tapes and videos.
LIT also has online library with Questia. It provides each student a username and password to log in to the website to choose from a wide range of options for books, articles, case studies and many more.
Oyster Cards Discount
Transport for London (TFL) operates a Student Discount Scheme offering you the opportunity to obtain discounts on travel across London. You can obtain a valid 18+ Student Oyster Photocard so that you can buy Bus Passes and Travelcards. This card is valid for seven days, one month or longer periods - up to one year at 30% discount. Being a LIT student you will be able to get the discount as LIT is listed with TFL.
