Assessment

The ACCA exams are divided into two levels; Fundamentals and Professional. The Fundamentals level is divided into two modules Knowledge and Skills.

The Knowledge module introduces you to the main areas of financial and management accounting. You will study the other technical accountancy areas after you study this. There are six subjects in the Skills module which cover the main technical areas that accountants are expected to know.

Duration

The ACCA Qualification should take about three to four years to complete on average. This is based on someone working full time, studying part time and who registers with the minimum entry requirements. The length of time can vary depending on your individual situation and you will have 10 years from the date you register to complete the ACCA Qualification exams. LIT will expect a student to complete it in three years time and will issue a CAS (if required) for no more than three years.
